Our cycle and ebike insurance covers all types of bicycles, protects against theft, accidents, and damage during travel, and offers full replacement if needed. You'll get friendly local support for riding in Guernsey and Europe, plus optional extras like liability, gear protection, and event cover. Do you insure electric bikes (ebikes)?
Yes! We cover ebikes as long as they meet Guernsey rules (up to 15.5 mph with pedal assistance).
Can I ride my bike outside Guernsey?
Yes, your bike or ebike is covered for up to 30 days in the UK and 60 days in Europe.
What if my bike gets damaged while travelling?
We cover your bike if it gets damaged on a ferry, airplane, or during car transport.
Do I need a special lock for my bike?
Yes, always use a strong lock like a gold-rated D-lock when leaving your bike outside. It helps keep it safe and ensures your insurance stays valid.
If my bike is stolen or damaged badly, what happens?
We replace your bike with a similar model, based on the value you told us when you bought your policy.
Can my family members also ride my insured bike?
Yes, your immediate family members living with you can also use your insured bike and will be covered by your policy.
Does my insurance cover me if I ride off-road or on trails?
Yes, you’re covered wherever you ride, including trails, paths, and off-road cycling in Guernsey and abroad.
Is my bike insured if it’s stored in a shed or garage overnight?
Yes, your bike is covered overnight as long as your shed or garage is securely locked.
How do I make a claim if my bike is stolen or damaged?
